We are happy to announce the winners of our October BEARD contest. We need to thank our awesome community and the voters, this wouldn’t be possible without you.
We asked winners these 3 following questions:
- Why did you decide to grow a beard?
- How long are you growing your beard and how do you treat it?
- Beard plans for the future?

1. EastTnMtnMan
- The reason I grew my beard is rather simple. I had never in my life grown a full beard for anytime over a month at a time and wanted to know if I could go a full year without shaving.
- I am almost 10 months into my beard growth. I would like to grow it out another 6 inches. I use various pomades with waxes to keep it in control.
- I hope to be able to continue growing it for the next year and reach my 2 year mark.
2. Michaël Nackaerts
- I started bearding because of all the cool pictures and quotes i saw! Told myself let’s be a real man!
- Started actually a year ago in september!
- My plans are letting it grow a little longer

3. Dickerson Wells, II
- I plan on growing my beard for a long time.
- I clean my beard at least twice a day.
- I eventually want my beard to be 3ft long
