Well my story is no different to the next man’s story and it begins like this.
The primary objective to growing my beard was in support of breast cancer awareness. However, unlike doing it at the appropriate time of the year I started growing my beard from April 2015 and haven’t removed ever since.
I stick out in public like a sore thumb. I left humanity behind long ago and I don’t care. People look at me and marvel at my awesomeness. Since then I get the occasional stare from women and the constipated face look from clean shaven men and men who can’t grow a beard.
As I took long windy walks with my beard people started calling me “classic man”. It only dawned on me much later that they were comparing me to Jidenna because of how I dress and my beard. So whether I’m at the airport, walking on the streets, mall or whatever, I hear people singing “I’m a classic man”.
I feel stronger in the gym, smarter in the boardroom and more manlier with every stride I take. I’m a young guy (25) but men come up to me and call me Sir.
You don’t choose a beard, the beard chooses you.
Well I could tell you more but I guess you have heard it all.
